The centerpiece of the #IWILL campaign is the long-form story “Ready for August,” – directed by Eliot Rausch – that presents a day-in-the-life look at underprivileged young athletes set against a gritty urban backdrop.  We see them rise early and travel in the coach’s truck to compete to earn a spot on the team, but it is the scenes on the field that highlight the pure drive and endurance of their physical efforts. The running of the drills mirrors the fierce running of emotions, as the young men pit themselves against one another; their hard work fueled by the motivation to earn their ticket out of the projects and onto the professional field.
